Hello everyone! It feels like I’m doing a tag after ages. November just flew by and I was too busy with work and stuff to notice it. This month I hope to complete all the previous tags and awards that are piling up! Giselle of Hardwork Boulevard and Lauren of Drifting Lexi tagged me to do the Autumn Book Tag. Huge thanks to both the ladies. And I guess you all must be following them by now. Now coming to the tag.
What is your favourite thing about autumn?
In our country we do not have a specific autumn. I mean there’s no falling leaves and everything. Just hot days and cool mornings and evenings. But I associate autumn with festivities as we have loads of festivals this time around. There’s a scent in the air in evenings and that’s autumn for me.
What book reminds you of your school days?
What reminds me the most of school is Fear Street series by R. L. Stine. Since we did not have any books in our curriculum, I used to wait eagerly for the library period to arrive so I could grab a book and then I used to read them between my classes.
What book cover reminds you of autumn?
This cover of A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks very much reminds me of autumn. It also happens to be one of my most favourite books.
What is your favourite horror or Halloween story?
Horror is one genre into I haven’t delved much. But Dracula by Bram Stoker would be a perfect Halloween read.
What is your favourite horror or Halloween film?
As I have mentioned this before, I’m a huge fan of horror. I love the adrenaline rush that comes with it! And if I have to pick my favourite horror movie then it would be The Grudge, Conjuring and The Possession. If you know of a movie scarier than these then please, please let me know!!
And I hope I’m not the only one scared after looking for these gifs!
What fall book release are you most looking forward to?
Sweetest Scoundrel by Elizabeth Hoyt
What autumn movie release are you most anticipating?
Obviously Mockingjay Part 2!! And also Tamasha, which is a Bollywood movie. But as per the reviews I think I’m going to skip the latter.
What are three books you plan to read this autumn?
I don’t usually plan on reading something beforehand. It’s like I read whatever I get my hands on. But I did plan to read Cold Hearted Rake by Lisa Kleypas and The Stolen Mackenzie Bride by Jennifer Ashley and I’m finished with both now. Currently I’m reading The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith aka J. K. Rowling.
I NOMINATE
